Danny Nielsen – The Value of the Time Step and an 8 Bar Phrase – Time steps and the 8 bar phrase are keys to the way tap dance has been built throughout its history. Dig deep into how they’re made and how you can use them.
Max Pollak – Introduction to RhumbaTap – Rooted in the Afro-Cuban tradition, Max’s way of playing music will have you using every part of your body and voice while creating songs with one another.
Demi Remick – Remick Repertoire – Learn an original from Demi’s own personal repertoire. Learn Demi’s style and approach while picking up new steps and come away with a complete piece you can practice.
Andrew Nemr – Applying The Method – Dig into the Method. Learn how to use this unique approach to discover steps, musical ideas, and unveil your own voice.
Danny Nielsen – How to Practice – Practice is an important part of the journey of a tap dancer. Spend time with Danny learning what you can do to make your practice better!
Max Pollak – Exploring RhumbaTap – Dive into an approach to tap dance unlike any other. Here you’ll learn traditional Afro-Cuban rhythms, experience an intense relationship between dancer and music, and a community of dancers playing together.
Demi Remick – Dancing in Confined Spaces – Demi has spent a lot of time dancing in confined spaces while on the road with Post Modern Jukebox. Here you’ll get key insights into the creative challenge of tap dancing on a small board. *Students can purchase their own gig board to take home!
