The Vancouver International Tap Dance Festival has been held in multiple locations around the city of Vancouver over the years. This year we are happy to partner with the following venues for intensives, classes, and performances.
We’re happy to partner with the Holiday Inn Downtown (1110 Howe St, Vancouver, BC V6Z 1R2). Festival attendees will receive a special discounted rate when making their reservation.
Vancouver is a beautiful city to visit. It’s only a 3 hour drive from Seattle, Washington, (depending on traffic at the boarder), or a 90 minute flight to Calgary!
The Vancouver International Airport is located south of downtown and takes about 30mins to travel from and to. Taxi cabs are available at the airport after you land, but should be reserved for your return trip. During your stay, please note that Uber and other ride sharing platforms do not exist in Vancouver, but car sharing platforms like Car2Go do exist here. Vancouver also has a good public transit system that can easily get you from one festival venue to another.
Vancouver is a great city to drive into. If you plan on using your car to travel between festival venues, please not that parking can be challenging (as in any major city) and possibly an additional expense. Budget accordingly.
Vancouver has a great public transit system that can easily get you from one festival venue to another. The public transit system includes buses and trains, and runs on the COMPASS CARD. Learn more about how and where to get your COMPASS CARD here. Plan your trips around town with Google Maps or the TransLink Trip Planner.
